Okay, so I am currently trying to figure something out: what are the odds me getting one of my 1cmc cards in a 60 card deck?
I have 8 total, and am currently trying to workit out.
Your deck has 8 1cmc cards and 52 other cards.
Let's call the first 8 cards good cards and the rest bad cards.
Remember, always, if the probability that any given card hand odds will occur is x, then the probability of that scenario NOT occurring is 1-x.
Therefore, if the probability of drawing all bad cards in your opening hand is x, then the probability of drawing at least one good card in your opening hand is 1-x.
The sum of both probabilities will always be 1 100%.
What is the probability that you will draw 7 bad cards in you opening hand?
Therefore the probability that of drawing at least one good card is 1 - 36.
Suppose you had only 4 good cards.
What would be the probability of drawing at least one good card in your opening hand?

Your maths is slightly wrong here, since you didn't replace cards in your deck after you draw in your calculations.
After each draw, the number of cards card hand odds in your deck should be reduced by 1.
So either you're card hand odds Zen master or an idiot, I'll assume the Zen master for sake of argument.
This card will have no paradoxes because it has a clear paradox.

Yes, but with hypergeometric distribution it's somewhat easier to answer specific questions like "What are card hand odds odds of me drawing exactly two of my 1 CMC cards in my opening 7?
